A project from Korneuburg, Austria

What you still wanted to say.Kept safe, until the time comes.

Bleibende Worte keeps a message for the people you name. We help you find the words.

Written in German first. Paid once. Nothing goes out while you are here.

The sign-up for the first 50 founding places is in preparation. This page does not collect addresses yet.

the unsaid

It is not the wanting that is missing. It is the moment, the strength, the words.

Almost everyone carries one sentence that never gets said out loud. The reasons are nearly always the same.

What is kept, and what stays unsaid
  • 01

It was never the right moment

No one wanted to make that Sunday afternoon heavy. Then it turned out to be the last one.

  • 02

    It happened faster than expected

A phone call in the night. Everything still left to say stayed where it was.

  • 03

    The words would not come

Someone who never spoke that way cannot find those sentences on demand.

  • 04

In the end there was no strength left

In a hospital room every day gets shorter. By then, speaking was often no longer possible.

  • 05

No one wanted to frighten anyone

Talking about it feels like bringing it closer. So it stays unspoken.

  • 06

So much was only ever thought

That a parent was proud of their child is something the child sometimes never heard.

Afterwards no one misses a document. What is missing is a sentence.

That one sentence can be left in advance. Written, in your own voice, or on film. None of this is filing, and none of it goes to strangers.

how it works

Deposit, keep, deliver.

The mechanism is the product. So we describe all of it, including the parts that are missing.

  1. 01

    deposit

You write, speak or film a Botschaft. If the page stays empty, the Erinnerungs-Interview asks questions. The questions come from us, the words from you. Nothing is written for you.

  2. 02

    keep planned

Your Botschaften are stored encrypted and belong to you alone. A Lebenszeichen email asks, without hurry, whether all is well. If you answer, everything stays where it is.

  3. 03

    deliver planned

If the Lebenszeichen goes unanswered, 2 Vertrauenspersonen must confirm the death independently. We then review the death certificate. Only after that are the messages delivered.

Status: 23 August 2026. This describes the intended mechanism. It is not automated yet, and we do not claim that it is.

about us

Two founders, one reason.

We are building what was missing in our own family.

A proper goodbye to his grandmother was no longer possible. This project grew out of that.

The project began as Letzte Worte and is now called Bleibende Worte. We do not claim to be the first or the only service of its kind.

questions

The questions people ask us first.

How is a death established?
The Lebenszeichen goes unanswered, including after two reminders. Then 2 Vertrauenspersonen confirm the death independently. A death certificate must also be submitted and reviewed. Only after that is anything delivered (planned).
Who has access before the death?
No one except the author. Vertrauenspersonen only confirm the death, they do not read messages.
What happens if the company no longer exists?
We give no guarantee across decades, because we could not keep it. The plan is to inform every author in time and to keep all content exportable.
Can my daughter help me record it?
Yes. As a Begleiter she can type or record for you, with your consent. The messages remain yours.
What does it really cost?
Worte 29 €, Stimme 59 €, Bild 99 €, each paid once. There is no recurring payment. In this phase we take no money at all.
Does an AI write my message?
No. A model proposes questions, never answers. Only what the author wrote or spoke is ever delivered.
